Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss has been a country singer for over 30 years. Her birthplace was in Decatur IL on the 23rd July 1971. LeAnnekymes and she were both among the youngest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss, born on July 23, 1971, is an American artist and performer. She began her career in the industry at an early age having won local competitions at the age of 10 before making her first recording when she was 14 years old. In 1985 she was signed to Rounder Records. Her first solo album came out in 1987. The band invited her to join the band whom she performs Alison Krauss and Union Station as well as releasing her debut album in the group in 1989.
