She released her debut Know It All album in the same year. The third single, Scars to Your Beautiful was among five tracks that made it to the top charts on Billboard which included Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 as well as Billboard Hot 100. In her interview with Rap-Up, many listeners spoke about Cara's self-love journey and her fears. Cara's tracks often contain positive message about mental wellness and how important it is to love yourself. Her music is an expression of her own personal struggles with mental illness and insomnia. When she spoke to Reuters the singer described her album as "half tumultuous" and "half perfect". She found that therapy helped her grow and urges others to do the same.
