She released her debut Know It All album in the year that followed. The third track, Scars to Your Beautiful was the first of five songs that reached the top spots on Billboard as well as the Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 in addition to Billboard Hot 100. It was a special track due to her interview with Rap-Up that she conducted, many of her listeners were able to connect to her experiences of finding love for themselves, and rethinking their beliefs about her. Cara integrates messages about love and kindness in her songs. Cara has struggled with insomnia and anxiety, which have influenced her journey. In a Reuters' interview, she's said that her album was half turbulent however, it is half finished. She claims she has grown through therapy, and encourages other people to get help when they need it. Alessia Cara, a Canadian musician was born in Canada on July 11, 1996 to Italian parentage. Alessia Cara's parents gave her an instrument when she was just 10 years old. That was her first step with music. In 2013, she performed some of her most loved songs on YouTube which is a well-known platform for media. The goal was to prove that she had both the ability and the confidence to pursue a career as an artist. One of her covers, Sweater Weather, was what got her noticed.
