Alessia Cara has been a Canadian artist since 1996. Her parents are of Italian origin. When she was 10 years old her parents gave her a guitar, which was the starting point of her love for music. She began to cover her favourite songs at age 13, to prove to that world that she could sing and had the confidence required to become a singer.
