When she was 19, she released her debut single Here. The song received praise both from music critics and listeners. It reached 19th place in both Billboard Hot 100 and the Canadian Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone named the track one of the top Songs of 2015. In that same year she debuted her album Know It All with the third track Scars to Your Beautiful being one of the five original songs which reached the top of Billboard charts, including those of the Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 as well as the Billboard Hot 100. In her interview with Rap-Up the listeners discussed Cara's journey to self-love and her doubts. Cara's music often contains positive messages regarding mental wellness and how important it is to love yourself.
