Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Roberts is the fourth Roberts generation living in Atlanta starting with her farmer great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts. Her father was interested in theatre since a young time. As studying at Emory University in 1952 he acted in productions on campus and elsewhere in Atlanta. In 1953, he enlisted in the Air Force and while stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he acted in a play with Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, they got married and their child Eric Anthony was born. Walter went to Tulane University at New Orleans, Louisiana in 1957 after the couple left the Air Force of the United States. Walter was a part of the Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio when the family relocated from Atlanta to Georgia's Decatur in the year 1960. Walter as well as Betty Lou financed their own production of a Sunday morning show for children, Bum Bum and His Buddies. The Actors and Writers Workshop was established in 1964 and lasted for 6 years. In 1965, they welcomed two more children into their lives: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
