Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts, born 28th October 1967 in Atlanta with Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Roberts is part of the Robertses' fourth generation to live in the Atlanta area, starting in the family of her grand-father John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. The Robertses' father was interested in theater from a young time. In 1952, while studying at Emory University, he performed in several productions in Atlanta. While stationed in Biloxi, Mississippi, he was inducted into the air force in 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was also in the production. They got married in the year 1955 and the couple's first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter and his wife left their Air Force service in the year 1957, when they enrolled Walter in Tulane University. Walter worked for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. The family moved in 1960 and moved in Decatur Georgia. Walter along with Betty Lou started production in 1964 on the local children's Saturday morning show on television called Bum Bum and His Buddies that they self-funded. In the following year, they established the Actors and Writers Workshop which operated for a period of six years. Lelisa Billingsley often referred to as Lisa, was born in 1965. Julia Billingsley followed in 1967.
