Coleman was born in Blackpool Lancashire. Coleman attended Arnold School in Blackpool where she was the head girl. She also received straight As on her A-levels. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who announced in a news conference held on the 21st of March, 2012, that Coleman would be replacing Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat stated that he picked Coleman to be the companion due to her ability to work best with Smith. In addition, Moffat noted that she talked faster than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been active in the film industry since 1987. She is however, more known for TV projects than movies. Eva is well-known for her roles as Dr. Maria Santos on All My Children and as the detective Natalia Boa Vistas from CSI Miami. It was the former that earned Eva two nominations for a 'Daytime Emmy. Additionally, she was able to showcase her creativity via music. Eva is, along with acting, is an entrepreneur and philanthropist. Eva has had three marriages and has a daughter from her previous husband.
