Ariel Winter (born Ariel Winter Workman on Janurary 28th, 1998 at Los Angeles California) is an American actor, singer, and voice actor. Ariel began her acting career from a young age. Ariel was featured in the Cool Whip ad when she was only six. Her first television appearance was at the age of seven years old, appearing in an episode from CBS's Listen Up! The following years she was a part of the likes of Monk Bones or ER. In 2007 was cast as Gretchen in the Disney Original Channel animated series Phineas and Ferb. In 2007 she was cast as her first live-action character as Alex Dunphy, on the well-known television series Modern Family. With the cast from Modern Family she received the Screen Actors Guild Award in the past four years for Best Ensemble Comedy Series.
